Dorothy Stone

Dorothy Stone is a native Vermonter and has grown up with a keen appreciation for the natural world. Her connection with nature fostered, at an early age, an interest in the great mysteries in life and how energy effects all of life and our healing processes. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and became a Registered Nurse and worked in Oncology in her early nursing career. Her perceptions of how allopathic medicine dealt with cancer and the disease process led her to expand her studies in alternative fields. She became a certified Massage Therapist in 1987 and has had a thriving private practice ever since. She has continued to study and expand her awareness in the areas of meditation, energy healing modalities including the art of Ho'oponopono and therapeutic sound. She leads study groups and sound healing circles, participates in Earth energy work in sacred sites around the world, and is dedicated to elevation of human consciousness. Dorothy uses her artistic talents in the areas of botanical photography and the painting of Native American medicine drums. With her partner Zacciah Blackburn, she assists with the work at The Center of Light in Ascutney,Vermont, which brings forward teachings in the areas of Sound Healing and Shamanic studies.
