TAPPING IN - by Laurel Parnell, Ph.D.
It's a step-by-step guide to a surprisingly simple technique anyone can use for instant relief from anxiety and trauma, and the first-ever work based on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to be made widely available for non-therapists. We have a natural healing system ready to restore us to balance," explains Dr. Parnell, an innovator and expert in EMDR who has trained thousands of clinicians in the United States and abroad. With TAPPING IN, she makes available for the first time self-guided instruction in bilateral stimulation, the clinically recognized system for tapping both sides of the body to release emotional and physical distress, build resilience, aid in healing, and calm the body on a deep physiological level. TAPPING IN includes complete, easy-to-follow instructions for learning the process and applying it right away.
